Prior to her current role as a Partner in one of the largest financial firms in the United States, she successfully managed corporate banks, as well as, owned and operated her own State Farm Agency for nearly ten years.

In 2015, she made a life changing decision to retire her Agency and go into Leadership as a Partner with New York Life, (NYLIAC) and NYLIFE Securities.

Joining New York Life, a Fortune 100 company, has proven to be particularly fruitful. As a Partner, Dee Dee identifies entrepreneurial minded individuals and leads them as they transition into successful business owners.

Dee Dee excels in her mission of guiding her team, a group of servant hearted leaders dedicated in their efforts to provide economic empowerment throughout the diverse community they serve.

Her drive and commitment is evident; she has been recognized by the NAACP as “Entrepreneur of the Year”; by the YMCA Dallas Metropolitan Area as “Volunteer of the Year”; by Ronald Jones, Mayor of Garland Texas for her work in the community receiving “Special Recognition” and also by the State of Texas for “Community Leadership and Service”.

Dee Dee is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is a graduate of Southern University A&M College. She’s actively involved within her community through multiple organizations and leadership boards. Her heart belongs to God, her husband, Kerry, and their three children, Ikeyia, Kiara, and Keislyn. As a result, fun time is usually centered on them… Praise! Worship! And Family Time!
